Question: Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Although sometimes a small town makes people relaxed, a big town is far better to live in for me. There are two reasons; transportation and convenience.

First, public transportations are fully provided in big towns. Such as busses, trains, and taxies are always there when I want to go somewhere. However, in small towns, public transportations are poorly serviced so many people have to own their own cars. For example, I live in a small town and I need a driver license to go somewhere, even to a friend’s house because busses are not operating frequently, so are trains.

Second, big towns are more convenient than small towns. In a big town, there are many shops, supermarkets, and convenient stores located in short distance so I do not have to go far away to buy groceries. On the contrast, there are only few stores, and are located in far distance. Thereby I need a car to go for a shopping. For example, it takes more than 30 minutes to get to the closest convenient store from my house by driving a car.

Though small towns are good for some parts, still big cities have more merits than small towns have. Throughout these two reasons, and there are more if I mention, big towns are far better place to live in for me.
